Protection of pollinators in an urban area

ORLEN is working jointly on a project to protect pollinators and biodiversity with the Mazovian Agricultural Advisory Centre (MODR) in Płock, which is adjacent to the manufacturing facility and the New Chemistry investment site.

Harvest festival in the Stara Biała Municipality

ORLEN was involved in the organization of the municipality harvest festival. This is not only an annual celebration of the farmers, but also a cultural event that promotes local traditions. For many rural communities, harvest festivals remain an important moment of integration and maintenance of cultural heritage.

ORLEN Zone at the Family Day in the locality of Maszewo Duże

ORLEN was one of the partners at the family picnic organized in Maszewo Duże at the Władysław Stanisław Reymont Primary School. The event brought together not only the school community, but also the local community of Stara Biała Municipality, which borders ORLEN’s Płock manufacturing plant and the construction site of the on-going Olefins III investment project.

Dialogue with local government representatives on the construction of the New Chemistry Complex

In 2024, a series of public information meetings was held with residents of Płock and Płock County on the construction of the plant. The ORLEN experts and the main contractor provided the residents attending the meetings with all the information they needed to answer their questions. They also presented literature, including the environmental and social standards and documents on which the investment project is based.

“ORLEN as a Good Neighbour” at the International Day of Scouts

Our Company took part in a bivouac organized by the Scout Brotherhood of the Flag - a team operating in the Stara Biała Municipality - on the occasion of the International Day of Scouts and Guides as part of the “ORLEN as a Good Neighbour” programme. To celebrate the Brotherly Thought Day, nearly 200 scouts from Poland, Turkey, Ukraine and the UK came to the municipality from February 23 to 25.

Dance festival in the Stara Biała Municipality

ORLEN provided organizational support for the local dance event Tulip Dance Festival. During the event, informational materials about the free ORLEN Info system and the activities of the Local Community Ombudsman were distributed.
