Harvest festival in the Stara Biała Municipality
ORLEN was involved in the organization of the municipality harvest festival. This is not only an annual celebration of the farmers, but also a cultural event that promotes local traditions. For many rural communities, harvest festivals remain an important moment of integration and maintenance of cultural heritage.
To create a unique event for the local community, the Company invited those attending to visit an area dedicated to Biodiversity and Environmental Education. The event was attended by residents of the Stara Biała Municipality (including foreigners living in the area - employees of the companies implementing the construction of the New Chemistry Complex), representatives of municipal, district and provincial authorities.
The municipality’s residents were treated to contests, workshops, an outdoor board game, an eco relay, a multimedia quiz on renewable energy sources, as well as a live beehive that could be seen at a stand dedicated to the honeybee.
