ORLEN as the sponsor of amputee football
At the beginning of 2024, ORLEN became the Main Sponsor of the Polish Amputee Football Association, supporting both the men’s and women’s national teams, as well as the U-19 team, the Junior Amp Football programme, and national league competitions.
The sponsorship covers the participation of the Polish teams in major international tournaments, including the Men’s EURO 2024 in France, the Women’s World Cup 2024 in Colombia, and the Men’s World Cup 2026. Under the agreement, the ORLEN logo appears on the jerseys of the amputee football premier league clubs, as well as on all promotional materials and advertising media displayed during matches and tournaments across Poland.
The year 2024 was exceptionally successful for both Polish amputee football national teams. The men’s team won the bronze medal at the European Championships held in France, while the women’s team also claimed bronze at the World Championships in Colombia.
