ORLEN as the Strategic Sponsor of Polish handball
Under an agreement with the Polish Handball Federation (ZPRP), ORLEN serves as the Strategic Sponsor of Polish handball. The partnership covers sponsorship of the men’s and women’s national teams across all age categories in both indoor and beach handball, as well as the ORLEN Men’s Polish Cup and the ORLEN Women’s Polish Cup. The ZPRP also implements training programmes such as We Play Handball, aimed at children in grades 1–3 of primary school, and the Handball Training Centres for children in grades 4–8.
The Company is the Title Sponsor of Poland’s top-tier handball leagues – the ORLEN Superliga and the ORLEN Women’s Superliga. For many decades, ORLEN has also supported ORLEN Wisła Płock – a Champions League participant and eight-time Polish champion (1995, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2024), which has finished on the national league podium every season since 1990.
