Reducing weight and optimising packaging design contribute to a more efficient use of materials.
From September 2025, the weight of the 3.1-litre ORLEN-branded windscreen washer fluid canisters, manufactured by ORLEN Oil, was reduced from 160 g to 150 g.
At the same time, the weight of VERVA own-brand plastic water bottles has been gradually reduced. In 2025, with the introduction of packaging made from rPET recycled material, the weight of bottles in three different sizes was reduced by between 1.8% and 7.5%.
In accordance with the requirements, ORLEN’s own-brand water and juice bottles are rPET bottles with integrated caps, and the labels are easy to separate from the bottles. These measures facilitate the preparation of the bottles for recycling.
