PKN ORLEN among partners of European Economic Summit in Warsaw
To mark Poland’s role in the European integration process on 28 – 30 April, Warsaw will host the European Economic Summit held under the theme “Europe: Enlargement and Beyond” and organized by World Economic Forum.
On the eve of European Union enlargement with 10 new members, the capital of Poland will be hosting Presidents and Prime Ministers of European countries, outstanding politicians, representatives of non-governmental organizations as well as business leaders. The Summit receives extensive coverage from domestic and international media.
Zbigniew Wrobel, President and CEO of PKN ORLEN, one of the Forum’s partners, has led today a discussion panel “Liberalization and Safety of the Energy sector” with panelists: Wilhelm Bonse-Gueking, the President of Deutsche BP; Christian Cleutinx, Director and Co-ordinator of the EU-Russia Energy Dialogue and Peter S. Zolotarev representing the Yukos Oil Company. The panelists shared their expertise on the role of Central and Eastern Europe in EU energy safety and changes following community enlargement.
