PKN ORLEN didn`t get from Agrofert Holding consent to reveal whole agreements
Following the disclosure of part of the agreement passed to the media today PKN ORLEN want to underline that it sill didn`t get from Agrofert Holding consent to the publication of whole agreements. PKN ORLEN is stressing that publication of parts of the agreements doesn`t give the full picture and relevant information about content of the agreements and it may cause false interpretation and may be misleading.
Immediately after receiving from Agrofert Holding the request to disclose parts of the agreements, PKN ORLEN granted to Agrofert Holding the consent related to the parts of agreement as indicated by Agrofert. Agrofert Holding has sent the consent for disclosure of these selected parts of agreements very short before the press conference it organized on September 13th. At the same time Agrofert Holding still didn`t reply for a request of PKN ORLEN for consent to announce whole agreements to, among others, Warsaw and London Stock Exchanges and general public.
PKN ORLEN still requests Agrofert to countersign the letter to agree for disclosure of not only parts, but all the agreements, letter of interest, side letter related to Agrofert Holding`s and PKN ORLEN`s contracts as regards sale of assets. Only this will serve as a proof of good and fair intentions and willingness to keep full transparency for all market participants.
