PKN ORLEN to regain retail market share

PKN ORLEN is pleased to announce that Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy (EFL) has joined the Company’s FLOTA scheme, which is aimed at business customers operating vehicle fleets and allows for the cash-free purchase of fuel and other selected products and services offered at ORLEN stations.

EFL is a leader in road transportation leasing services in Poland with a market share of 15 per cent, well over Raiffeisen Leasing and BRE Leasing. EFL holds an even stronger position in the private cars segment with a market share of around 20 per cent.

As a result of the agreement with PKN ORLEN, over 120,000 EFL’s clients have gained access to the FLOTA scheme under very favourable conditions.

- In the retail strategy announced last year, we undertook to rebuild our market share through co-operation with the biggest companies operating on the Polish market. The agreement concluded with EFL constitutes one of the pillars of PKN ORLEN’s strategy in the retail segment - said Wojciech Heydel, Sales Vice-President of PKN ORLEN.

- We always strive to enter into agreements with the best companies and PKN ORLEN is perceived as the market leader. With its large distribution network, PKN ORLEN perfectly matches our business and sales level - said Tomasz Gutowski, Vice-President of EFL’s Management Board.

About PKN ORLEN’s Flota scheme
The FLOTA scheme covers 1,589 ORLEN stations in Poland. In addition, thanks to combined DKV/ORLEN fuel card, it is also recognised at 20,000 fuel stations and 6,000 service points across Europe.

PKN ORLEN offers two types of fleet cards to its customers: the K card bearing the driver’s name and the S card bearing the registration number of the vehicle. For each card, the customer may specify the limits of quantity or value of purchased products or the frequency of transactions.

Managers of the FLOTA scheme are offered a dedicated web service through which they can monitor all transactions performed by drivers. The FLOTA scheme is suitable for both specialty haulage corporations, trade, service and production companies as well as public institutions.
