New competences of the Board
Following the appointment of Piotr Kownacki to the Management Board of PKN ORLEN, during its session today, 24th October 2006, the Management Board passed the following resolution on new competences.
Piotr Kownacki has been allocated the areas of audit, alternative energy sources, and co-operation with the European Union, as well as the monitoring of regulations and risk management. This breakdown will allow for the best possible utilization of Piotr Kownacki’s experience in the area of audit and legal regulations. The expertise and knowledge of Piotr Kownacki will also be used in the Mazeikiu Nafta transaction.
