Awards for the ORLEN Group
Trzebina Refinery, Jedlicze Refinery and Anwil – 3 companies from the ORLEN Group – have been ranked amongst the 18 winners in the “2007 Polish Economic Pillars” ranking organised by Puls Biznesu, the Polish daily.
The fourth edition of the Puls Biznesu ranking looked for companies which are economically strong, reliable, and play a significant role in their local societies. The companies winning the awards are also perceived as stable and good employers, as supporting local initiatives, and acting in a transparent and honest way.
The ranking was made on the basis of the opinions of 25,000 people, including the readers of Puls Biznesu (www.pb.pl), as well as the nominated companies’ employees, local authorities and societies.
In the ORLEN Group, Trzebinia Refinery plays an important role as a producer of bio-fuels. Anwil is Poland’s only, and Central Europe’s key, manufacturer of suspension PVC, and is also one of the biggest Polish producers of nitrogenous fertilizers and PVC. The Jedlicze Refinery has focused its operations on the refining of used oils.
