New CEO at Trzebinia Refinery
Today, the Supervisory Board of Trzebinia Refinery has removed Grazyna Kus from the position of the CEO of Trzebinia Refinery. Management of the company has been seconded to Jerzy Pazura, the Chairman of the Trzebinia’s Supervisory Board.
The decision of the Supervisory Board was taken upon assessment of the CEO’s performance confronted with a tough situation of the refinery. The dismissed CEO’s performance was judged as unsatisfactory. The Supervisory Board has found no efficient undertakings of the Management Board lead by Grazyna Kus in the area of the company’s restructuring so necessary for the efficiency improvement, and in consequence, maintenance of the jobs.
The Management Board of PKN ORLEN has informed both the Trzebinia’s employees and trade unions of the company’s current situation and declared a good will in co-operating in overcoming the financial downturn and ensuring the sound performance of the Trzebinia Refinery as a company of recognized identity and brand.
