PKN ORLEN a "Top 250 Global Energy Company " PKN ORLEN is one of the top 100 companies in Platts’s ‘Top 250 Global Energy Company” a ranking which lists the 250 largest energy companies in the world.
The ‘TOP 250’ ranking was based on a thorough review of the 2007 financial results, with special consideration to asset value, revenue, profit and ROI. PKN ORLEN was 76th in the global ranking and was the only Polish company in the top 100.
The authors of the ‘TOP 250’ also established sub-rankings for best achievements per industry and per region. PKN ORLEN took 9th place in the Refining&Marketing category, 35th place among the 50 Fastest Growing Companies from the 2008 Top 250 List and 40th place in the regional category of Top European, Middle Eastern and African Companies 2008.
