PKN ORLEN receives IR Magazine's Best Investor Relations by a Polish Company award

Once again, representatives of the capital market have awarded PKN ORLEN the title of Best Investor Relations by a Polish Company.  This year's results were announced at a gala awards ceremony in London.

For the second time, PKN ORLEN has emerged victorious in the Best Investor Relations by a Polish Company category of the contest organized by IR Magazine. The company was the winner in the same category two years ago and was also awarded the title for Most Progress in Investor Relations in 2004. This year, the battle for the title of Best Investor Relations by a Czech Company featured Unipetrol, part of the ORLEN Capital Group and nominated for the first time in the history of the competition.

The Best Investor Relations by a Polish Company title is awarded annually by the international specialist periodical, IR Magazine on the basis of an independent survey conducted among more than 700 representatives of the international capital market. IR Magazine is a prestigious global monthly, covering issues relating to investor relations.

Not for the first time, the respondents' views have demonstrated that PKN ORLEN enjoys the recognition of investors and market analysts alike for its communication with the capital market. In April this year, the Concern's website received the highest rating from independent market analysts and brokers in the WarsawScan 2009 ranking, as well as taking second place in the Good Investor Communications category.
