New Management Board of ORLEN Lietuva
The Shareholders' Meeting of ORLEN Lietuva appointed the Management Board of the Lithuanian Company for a consecutive term of office. The Management Board is comprised of seven members. Pursuant to the Company’s statute, the Management Board elected Ireneusz Fafara as President and General Director of the Company. The term of office of the present Management Board shall expire in April 2014.
Following today’s resolution, the Management Board of the Company comprises the following members:
- Mr. Ireneusz Fąfara – President of the Management Board OL, General Director
- Mr. Jarosław Roman Szaliński - Member of the Management Board OL, Deputy General Director for Finance
- Mr. Jacek Tomasz Szafrański – Member of the Management Board OL, Deputy General Director for Sales
- Mr. Edmond Seghman - Member of the Management Board OL, Deputy General Director for Production Supervision
- Ms. Vita Petrošienė – Member of the Management Board OL, Deputy General Director for Business Support
- Mr. Sławomir Robert Jędrzejczyk - Member of the Management Board OL, Vice-President of the Management Board of PKN ORLEN for Finance
- Mr. Krystian Pater - Member of the Management Board OL, Member of the Management Board of PKN ORLEN for Refineries
- It is the opinion of the Company’s owner that the present Management Board, with the respective competences and experience of its Members, represents an optimal solution for the operating tasks and challenges ahead of the Company in this difficult time - declares Jacek Krawiec, President of the PKN ORLEN Management Board.
Ireneusz Fąfara graduated from the Cracow University of Economics with a master’s degree in economy (majoring in international economic relations). Mr. Fąfara took part in both national and international courses in finance and capital markets organized by, among others, the Swiss Bankers Association and the Central Bank of Austria. Mr. Fąfara holds a stock exchange broker license with experience gained on the stock exchanges of Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
The professional experience of Mr. Fąfara includes the functions of President of the Management Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (2007-2009), Member of the Management Board of the Social Security Office (Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych) (1998-2007), Vice-President of the Management Board, Director of the Brokerage House and Financial Analyst at Bank Energetyki SA in Radom (1992-1998).
