PKN ORLEN’s Fleet Cards Awarded in Fleet Awards 2011
For the fifth time the FLOTA card has won the title of the “Fleet Product of the Year” in the Fleet Awards 2011 nationwide poll organised by the Flota magazine and the Fleet Management Institute Central-Eastern Europe.
The Fleet Awards poll is considered one of the most important events in the fleet industry in Poland. The initiative is aimed at identifying and promoting the leaders of the Polish fleet market in such categories as fleet manager, fleet product/service or fleet car of the year. Winners are selected through online voting. PKN ORLEN’s fuel cards received this prestigious award for the first time in 2006.
ORLEN’s fleet cards are designed for businesses, which attach importance to convenience and security of transactions combined with individual customer approach. Featuring an embedded microchip, the cards may be fully customised on customer’s request, which allows them to select products and services to meet all their individual needs. Moreover, the use of a microchip instead of a magnetic stripe guarantees a high level of security as microchip cards are virtually impossible to copy and ensure full control over fuel purchases.
The Company also offers pre-configured bundles designed to facilitate easy and quick selection of an effective programme tailored to specific features of a given fleet. PKN ORLEN’s offer stands out thanks to the coverage of the network of service station which accepts the fleet cards. Currently, the network comprises over 1,700 service stations and practically covers entire Poland.
Fleet Management Institute Central-Eastern Europe, the poll’s initiator, is a Polish fleet industry opinion maker, whose primary objective is education and integration of Polish customers and suppliers of fleet services and products. Regular training sessions, seminars and conferences provide the Institute’s partners with information on the latest developments on the Polish and foreign fleet markets, and create an opportunity to make a live presentation of their products to Polish company fleet managers.
