Changes on Unipetrol Management Board

​At its meeting held today, the Supervisory Board of Unipetrol removed Andrzej Mikołaj Modrzejewski and Robert Dominik Małłek from the company’s Management Board. At the same time, the Supervisory Board decided to appoint Katarzyna Woś and Maciej Andrzej Libiszewski to the Unipetrol Management Board, with effect from March 14th. Exercising its powers defined in the Articles of Association, the Management Board decided to appoint Krzysztof Zdziarski as President and Tomasz Wiatrak as Vice President of the Management Board, with effect from March 10th.

Katarzyna Woś
She is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and the Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest. She also completed post-graduate studies in Accounting and Finance at the University of Economics in Kraków. She was appointed to the Management Board of Unipetrol, with effect from March 14th 2018. Since 2017, Katarzyna Woś has been Vice President of the Management Board of Energa Informatyka i Technologie, responsible for IT Procurement, Customer and User Support, and Finance. Previously, from 2009, she worked for Electrolux Poland. Between 2003 and 2009, she was a team head at TT Plast.

Maciej Andrzej Libiszewski
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. He also completed Polish-German Management Studies at the Berlin International Academy. From 2015 to 2017, he was President of the Management Board of AWT of Amsterdam, Vice President of the Management Board of POL-RAIL of Rome, and President of the Management Board of PKP Cargo. From 2005, he held managerial positions and served on the management bodies of Szpitale Tczewskie, Cargosped Terminal Braniewo, Srebrna, Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Maszynami Budownictwa Warszawa, and PKP Cargo. In 2009–2011, Mr Libiszewski was an expert member of the President of Poland’s supporting staff, where he was responsible for economic affairs related to railway transport, as well as the coal mining and energy sectors.

On March 9th 2018, the Unipetrol Management Board resolved to delegate Krzysztof Zdziarski, previously serving as Vice President of the Management Board, to act as President of the Management Board, and to appoint Tomasz Wiatrak, previously serving as Member of the Management Board, to act as Vice President of the Management Board. These changes will take effect as of tomorrow.

Krzysztof Zdziarski has extensive managerial experience in the energy sector and in building and developing medium-sized and large enterprises. Mr Zdziarski has been with the ORLEN Group for almost a decade, and during that time was responsible for a number of projects, including production and maintenance, power generation and process safety management.
In 1999–2006, he was President of the Management Board of UPS Polska, and from 2006 to 2010 – of the PEKAES Group. From 2010, Mr Zdziarski worked for ORLEN Południe, where – as President of the Management Board – he was responsible for consolidation of PKN ORLEN’s refineries based in southern Poland. In 2014–2016, at PKN ORLEN, Krzysztof Zdziarski served as Executive Director for Refinery Production. On July 2nd 2016, he was appointed Vice President of the Management Board of Unipetrol.

Starting from March 14th, the Management Board of UNIPETROL will be composed of:

  • Krzysztof Zdziarski – President of the Management Board;
  • Mirosław Kastelik – Vice President of the Management Board;
  • Tomasz Wiatrak – Vice President of the Management Board;
  • Tomáš Herink – Member of the Management Board;
  • Maciej Andrzej Libiszewski – Member of the Management Board;
  • Katarzyna Woś – Member of the Management Board.
