ORLEN with Golden CSR Leaf
PKN ORLEN was awarded the Golden CSR Leaf for another consecutive year in recognition its CSR efforts in 2019. The Company was also distinguished for its project to develop a high-performance silicon carbide DC charger with an efficiency 97%. The CSR Leaves is a list of Poland’s most socially engaged companies, prepared by the Polityka weekly in partnership with the Responsible Business Forum and Deloitte.
In the 9th edition, the questionnaire (prepared under ISO 26000) was completed by 96 companies, of which 68 received awards. The Golden CSR Leaf went to 14, the Silver CSR Leaf to 16, and the White CSR Leaf to 38 organisations. The companies were reviewed for their specific activities in the areas of corporate governance, human rights, employee policy, environmental protection, customer care, business integrity and social engagement.
"PKN ORLEN has received the Golden CSR Leaf for six consecutive years. This year, we were also distinguished for our good practice aimed at supporting the pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals. This confirms that we are a responsible business that implements the best solutions available and follows international standards in business as well as in relations with stakeholders and employees. In the global coronavirus pandemic, it is of particular importance to apply responsible management practices in business,” said Agata Górnicka, Head of External Relations Office of PKN ORLEN.
In this year’s edition of the list, a White CSR Leaf was also awarded to the ORLEN Group’s ANWIL.
