ORLEN Celebrated as a Top Employer Once Again
ORLEN has reaffirmed its position as one of the best employers by earning the Top Employer Poland certificate. This prestigious recognition highlights the company’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment and upholding the highest standards in human resource management. Among the Top Employers 2025 is also ORLEN Unipetrol, a Czech subsidiary of the ORLEN Group.
The certificate is awarded by Top Employer Institute, which conducts an in-depth evaluation of organisations worldwide. The certification process encompasses six key domains comprising 20 topics, including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, well-being, diversity, and inclusion. Notably, ORLEN has received this accolade for 14 consecutive years.
‘Being awarded the Top Employer Poland certificate is a testament to ORLEN’s standing as a responsible, forward-thinking employer that prioritises employee development and fosters engagement in social contribution initiatives. ORLEN’s safe and stable work environment drives greater employee motivation as well as higher quality and efficiency in their work. We deeply value and thank our employees for their proactive approach and their contributions to strengthening our organisational culture,’ said Anna Socha, Executive Director for HR at ORLEN.
The programme has certified and recognised over 2,400 top employers across 125 countries on five continents.
‘Consistency in an inconsistent world? In an era of constant change, shaped by technological, economic, and social transformations, exceptional moments reveal the best in people and organisations. This year’s edition of the Top Employers programme highlighted this strength, as the certified Top Employers 2025 demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the well-being of their employees worldwide. Their steadfast commitment to outstanding human capital management practices sets them apart as an exclusive group that has achieved global certification through the Top Employers programme. We are proud to celebrate these companies and their achievements,’ noted David Plink, CEO at Top Employers Institute.
This year’s programme, based on a global ranking methodology, also recognised ORLEN Unipetrol, which was included for the third consecutive year in the elite group of top employers in the Czech Republic. This accolade underscores the successful implementation of a unified HR policy across the ORLEN Group.
‘ORLEN Unipetrol has long been among the leading employers in the Czech Republic. It is consistently acknowledged for its comprehensive employee care and support for personal and professional employee development. Recently, we have focused on enhancing individual accountability, efficiency, and workplace safety. We also place strong emphasis on supporting mid-level management, as they play a pivotal role in conveying the company’s vision and fostering a motivating work environment. These approaches are also applied in Slovakia and Hungary, where our companies are growing rapidly,’ said Mariusz Wnuk, President of the Management Board at the ORLEN Unipetrol Group.
