ORLEN Advances Cerisa Project in the North Sea

ORLEN Upstream Norway, together with its license partners, has taken a final investment decision on the development of the Cerisa discovery. The project is expected to deliver 8.5 million barrels of oil equivalent net to ORLEN, including approximately 0.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Start-up of production is planned for 2027.

ORLEN strengthens Norwegian portfolio with Goliat stake

ORLEN Upstream Norway has signed an agreement with Vår Energi to acquire a 20% stake in five licenses, including the producing Goliat field. The transaction will increase the company’s oil and gas reserves by nearly 60 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) and is expected to boost production by around 12,000 barrels per day within the next few years.

ORLEN: The Eirin field is already supplying gas to Poland

ORLEN Upstream Norway and Equinor, the operator, have started production from a new field in the North Sea. At peak output, Eirin will deliver around 270 million cubic meters of gas per year to ORLEN. Production is carried out using installations powered by electricity from renewable energy sources.

ORLEN Announces North Sea Discovery in the Sleipner Area

ORLEN Upstream Norway, together with operator Equinor and partner Vår Energi, has confirmed a gas and condensate discovery in the Sleipner Area. The resources at the Frida Kahlo prospect are estimated at 7.2 million barrels of oil equivalent. The partners plan to bring the discovery into production in the first half of 2026.

ORLEN Acquires Stake in the Afrodite Discovery

ORLEN Upstream Norway has agreed to acquire a 25% interest in production license PL293 in the North Sea from Vår Energi. The license covers the unconventional Afrodite gas discovery, which has the potential to deliver nearly 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas net to ORLEN.

ORLEN Announces Gas Discovery in the North Sea

ORLEN Upstream Norway, in partnership with Equinor, has discovered new natural gas resources on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The company expects to produce approximately 1 billion cubic meters of gas from the Sissel discovery, which will be transported to Poland via the Baltic Pipe.

Stable year for small-scale LNG supplies

In 2025, ORLEN further consolidated its position in small-scale LNG supplies, delivering more than 245 thousand tonnes of liquefied natural gas to customers. This volume would be sufficient to supply all households in cities with populations of about 200 thousand for almost five years. The LNG was sourced primarily from the Świnoujście terminal, as well as from the small-scale LNG reloading facility at the Klaipėda terminal and the Group’s own production assets. Transported by road tankers, the fuel is supplied to various customers, including private consumers and businesses in areas with limited access to the national gas grid.

ORLEN Expands Production as New Różańsko Field Comes on Stream

ORLEN has commenced production at the Różańsko natural gas field in the West Pomeranian region, which holds estimated reserves of 1.2 bcm. The development is linked to the ongoing expansion of the Dębno Oil and Gas Extraction Facility, enabling increased output from other producing fields in the area.
