Stable performance from the ORLEN Group alongside the lowest fuel prices in the European Union

The ORLEN Group closed the first quarter of 2026 with solid financial results. LIFO-based EBITDA reached PLN 14.1 billion, revenue stood at PLN 75.8 billion, and net profit came in at PLN 8.1 billion, driven by high operational efficiency and growing sales volumes across all key products. The Group’s sound financial position enabled the Management Board to recommend a record dividend totalling PLN 9.3 billion. At the same time, in the first three months of the year ORLEN spent PLN 5.4 billion on investments aimed at enhancing energy security and expanding modern zero- and low-carbon energy sources.

ORLEN moves to the next level of digitalisation with Amazon Web Services

The agreement centres on the use of modern cloud computing technologies to improve operational efficiency, increase flexibility and speed up the rollout of innovation across the organisation.

Moody’s, the international credit rating agency, has affirmed ORLEN’s long-term rating at A3. The agency highlighted the Group’s strong liquidity and resilience in a period of commodity price volatility.

PGNiG rebranded as ORLEN expands customer benefits

The PGNiG brand is transitioning to ORLEN, while the company formerly operating as PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny is changing its name to myORLEN. Its customers have already gained access to a broad range of benefits and attractive promotions. Brand unification enables the offering of integrated energy services and supports the strategic development of the ORLEN VITAY platform into a super app. In addition, the new operating model will allow for efficient management of energy, gas and fuel services, as well as modern solutions for households and businesses.

Orlen takes control of key petrochemical unit in deal with Synthos

ORLEN has signed an agreement with Synthos to acquire full ownership of S54, the company developing a new butadiene extraction unit. Once completed, the unit will become an integral part of ORLEN’s Production Plant in Płock, allowing the Group to preserve an extended petrochemical value chain. The transaction, valued at approximately PLN 692 million, together with a package of accompanying agreements, also puts the existing relationship between the parties on a sound footing and lays the groundwork for further cooperation on transparent, mutually beneficial terms.

ORLEN has for the first time advanced to the final of the Platts Global Energy Awards, one of the most prestigious competitions in the global energy sector. In this year’s edition, the company has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Energy – LNG’ category. The nomination highlights ORLEN’s growing role in the global liquefied natural gas market and recognises its consistent strategy of ensuring secure LNG supplies and expanding gas infrastructure.

Record-breaking transaction: ORLEN signs contract for 40 Polish locomotives

ORLEN Kolej, Poland’s second-largest rail freight operator, has signed a contract worth more than PLN 800 million for the delivery of 40 new locomotives. The order was awarded to Polish manufacturers PESA and Newag, which will jointly supply the ORLEN Group’s rail company with 40 modern locomotives expected to cover 5.5 million kilometres annually.

ORLEN signs gas supply contract with Naftogaz

ORLEN has signed a contract with its Ukrainian partner, Naftogaz, for the supply of 300 million cubic metres of natural gas from the US in the first quarter of 2026. The deal follows an agreement concluded between the companies during the Transatlantic Partnership for Energy and Climate (P-TEC) Summit, held in Athens in early November 2025.

ORLEN to supply US gas to Ukraine. Agreement signed for 2026 deliveries

ORLEN and Naftogaz have signed an agreement setting out the framework for a future gas supply contract. The Polish company will deliver over 300 million cubic metres of gas to its Ukrainian partner. The fuel will originate from American LNG cargoes received by ORLEN. The agreement was signed during the Atlantic Council conference on Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation, which was also attended by Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyka and Deputy Minister Wojciech Wrochna.
