Polyvinyl chloride – Polanvil
Offered by ANWIL S.A.
Suspension polyvinyl chloride
The suspension-effected polyvinyl chloride of premium quality, marketed under Polanvil brand, has a very wide range of applications. It can be used, for example, in production of construction sections, boards, sewage pipes, pressure pipes, drainage pipes, pipe connectors, drain traps, gutters, lining, skirting boards, sealing tapes, tiles, wallpapers, cable coatings, electric cord insulations, various kinds of foils, faux leather, shoe parts, and packaging. It is also used in automotive, electronics and aircraft industries, in machine building and for the production of all sorts of items such as cups, containers and flower pots.
PVC processors value the product primarily for its homogeneity within a given batch and its stable and regular quality in consecutive product batches. This is ensured with the use of a modern and fully automated production process based on a Japanese licence from Shin-Etsu. The stripping installation makes it possible to remove the residue of unreacted vinyl chloride. We are also distinguished by the size of the reactors – a 40-ton batch of product can be obtained from one reactor.
Advantages
- thermoplastic properties
- high mechanical resistance
- resistance to many solvents
