Cooperation with The Fryderyk Chopin Institute

Works of Fryderyk Chopin – a global showcase of Polish cultural heritage.

For years ORLEN has been involved in promotion of the works of the acclaimed Polish composer. As a part of our co-partnership with The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, we supported numerous events, including The International Music Festival “Chopin and his Europe”, Birthday Anniversary and Requiem Concerts. However, the most important event we take patronage of is the International Chopin Piano Competition, which is one of the most acclaimed events for classical music connoisseurs from all over the world.

We also remember about the youth. In collaboration with The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, we organize The National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Contest held in Katowice, which promotes young Polish pianists. Our continuous support includes as well such educational projects as Small Chopin Academy and Young Talents.

Our goal is to promote the works of Frederic Chopin among as broad audience as possible. As an exclusive patron of the Institute, we support the purchases of the artworks associated with the composer comprehensively. Thanks to our commitment, The Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw has obtained priceless manuscripts of the composer: two letters and a g-moll ballad inspired by the works of poet Adam Mickiewicz.

The works of Fryderyk Chopin are a vital part of Polish national heritage. They are the showcase for our country worldwide. By supporting The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, we contribute to the fulfillment of two essential tasks: promoting national culture and strengthening ORLEN brand reputation.
