ORLEN accelerates its expansion ORLEN Aviation enters a new market

ORLEN Aviation is entering the international market. The company has obtained a licence to refuel aircraft at the Czech Republic’s largest airport – Václav Havel Airport Prague. This marks the company’s first operational contract outside Poland. Until now, the ORLEN Group’s presence at Prague airport had been limited to supplying aviation fuel to airlines. Aircraft refuelling operations by ORLEN Aviation are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026.

ORLEN expands its hydrogen infrastructure: a new refuelling station opens in Piła

ORLEN has launched its fifth publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling station in Poland, located in Piła. The low-emission fuel can be used by the bus fleet of the local municipal transport company as well as by individual customers. Under the agreement, ORLEN will supply the operator with 219 thousand kilograms of hydrogen, supporting the development of low-emission transport in the region. The facility is also the second hydrogen station in the Wielkopolska Province, following Poznań.

Hydrogen from Finland for Polish industry – ORLEN signs key agreements

ORLEN has entered into cooperation agreements with three Finnish partners for the production and supply of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives. The agreements signed with ABO Energy Suomi, Nordic Ren-Gas and VolagHy Kuopio SPV will help secure hydrogen supplies during a period of growing demand in the years ahead. The Group is developing hydrogen technologies as one of the key pillars of industrial decarbonisation. ORLEN also plans to utilise salt caverns located in Poland for large-scale underground storage of the fuel.

The PGNiG brand is transitioning to ORLEN, while the company formerly operating as PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny is changing its name to myORLEN. Its customers have already gained access to a broad range of benefits and attractive promotions. Brand unification enables the offering of integrated energy services and supports the strategic development of the ORLEN VITAY platform into a super app. In addition, the new operating model will allow for efficient management of energy, gas and fuel services, as well as modern solutions for households and businesses.

Stable year for small-scale LNG supplies

In 2025, ORLEN further consolidated its position in small-scale LNG supplies, delivering more than 245 thousand tonnes of liquefied natural gas to customers. This volume would be sufficient to supply all households in cities with populations of about 200 thousand for almost five years. The LNG was sourced primarily from the Świnoujście terminal, as well as from the small-scale LNG reloading facility at the Klaipėda terminal and the Group’s own production assets. Transported by road tankers, the fuel is supplied to various customers, including private consumers and businesses in areas with limited access to the national gas grid.
