PKN ORLEN to sell shares of LG Petro Bank

On 23rd September 2002 Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN signed an agreement with Nordea Bank Sweden AB (publ) ("Nordea") upon which Nordea wishes to purchase 4,450,708 shares of LG Petro Bank S.A. ("LG Petro Bank") from PKN ORLEN. The purchase of the above stake, which accounts for 19.9 per cent of the initial capital of LG Petro Bank, shall be realised through a public call / summon.

The EGM of PKN ORLEN approved the financial statements of the Capital Group

The Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of PKN ORLEN approved the financial statements of the Capital Group. At today's Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting, the shareholders of PKN ORLEN approved the Directors' Report on the activities of the Capital Group and the Capital Group's consolidated financial statements for the 2001 fiscal year. Moreover, the shareholders approved the planned lease or disposal of some parts of the Company's business.

Life boat for Volunteer Rescue Patrol in Mikolajki

On Sunday, August 4, 2002 ORLEN will give a modern life boat and fuel for its operation to the Volunteer Rescue Patrol in Mikołajki. This is another action of the Concern that aims at improvement of safety in the Mazurian Lake District.

PKN ORLEN - Patron of YOUNG TALENTS

Polish junior high school students and their peers from other countries will "Look in the same direction", according to the motto of this year's "International Integration Art Plain Air with art workshops for junior high school students". The plain air was organized by the Gostynin County Association of Tourist Communes of Gostynin Lake District.
